Our combination of butters and oils carry their own levels of SPF naturally:

• Coconut Oil (natural SPF 2-8) moisturizes skin 
• Shea Butter (natural SPF 3-6) moisturizes skin 
• Almond Oil (natural SPF 5) moisturizes skin 
• Beeswax locks in moisture 
• Non-Nano Zinc Oxide serves as the SPF agent
• Vitamin E Oil hydrates skin 

Not only can you have peace of mind when putting this combination on your skin, it is safe for all ages. So slather yourself and your kids up, and enjoy the outdoors. Just don't forget to reapply.

Directions:  Apply a thin layer of sunscreen on areas that are prone to burn every 2 hours. (Reapply every hour in the hottest parts of the day). .

If you have never used natural or therapeutic grade essential oil based products, breakouts on the skin may occur. Essential oils are designed to rid the body of toxins, and first-time use may begin that process. 

Handmade sunscreen cannot claim an SPF. The exact SPF factor of a plant-based oil cannot be exactly determined given that natural oils oxidize (lose some of their medicinal properties) over time + when they are exposed to light.
