Gua Sha is a practice that dates back to the Ming dynasty, known as the scraping tool. It is used to increase circulation, relax muscles, minimize tension and promote lymphatic drainage. Use it on the face, as well as the body.

The Lymphatic System rids the body of toxins and waste. It transports lymph (a fluid containing infection-fighting white blood cells). The Lymph System, throughout the body, requires movement to flush toxins (i.e. moderate exercise); however, the lymph system in the face and neck needs a little assistance. The Gua Sha is the perfect tool to aid this process.
Directions: Apply your favorite serum or facial mist - you want your skin to be moist, plump + dewy. Hold the Gua Sha flat against your skin, whole holding your skin back with the other hand - with gentle to medium pressure scrape up and out with the tool. At your hairline, hold for a few seconds to release tension.
